    Amazing all around buds.**UPDATE**
    5 out of 5 stars
    Amazing all around buds.**UPDATE**
I am a slightly reformed earbud junky. I have owned or own almost every credible earbud in the last five or so years. I use both an Android and an Apple phone, an iPad Pro, and a Dell XPS laptop so I am ambidextrous when it comes to devices. I owned the first gen Technics buds and I mostly really like them. Like the Sony buds, they were a bit big but it was a hell of a comeback for the Panasonic owned HiFi company. My current daily drivers are the Sony 1000XM5’s and the Apple AirPod 2 Pros. I love them both. However, the Sony’s are still a bit big and the multi connectivity, while present, isn’t the best. The AirPods are awesome but aren’t great for non Apple products. So, after putting this purchase off for many months, I finally pulled the ripcord and got these. They are awesome. Here is the breakdown: Sound: This is how I start every review on buds because sound is the main purpose of any bud or headphone. The sound here is amazing. This is a single 10mm liquid filled driver that is new technology in a bud. It creates deep sound that is a bit bass leaning. You get strong separation between the low, mid, and high tones. The sound here crushes the AirPods and is equal to the Sonys in my opinion. There is support for LDAC and LE Bluetooth codecs. However, these sound amazing without the high end codecs which is good for Apple fans. Those that love lossless audio though will be glad to have these on board. The sound is almost enough to recommend these but read on because there are many more reasons. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): This is one area I think these buds don’t wipe out the competition. The Bose buds and the Apple AirPods are both a bit better. These are on par with the Sony buds for me. Good but not the best. There are a lot of adjustments in the app but I just leave them on adaptive. I think these will be great for a plane trip as these do a great job on low end noise. Sudden sharper noise gets through though. I do love that these don’t make you feel ear pressure that some buds give you with it on. Overall, while not class leading, the ANC here is still very good. Form Factor: These won’t be to everyone’s liking but they are pretty dynamite. These are smallish stemless buds that have a nice soft finish inside the buds with a nice metal finish on the outside. The look and feel great. I find them comfortable for long periods. Call Quality: The class leading AirPods are still the best, but these run a close second. Technics embedded AI that can identify your voice, enhance it, and cancel out noises around you. Some reviews I read say that this process can end up making you sound a bit robotic but I haven’t had anyone comment on it and I have been asking. Very good calls all around here. The case: I always rate the case in earbud reviews because you frankly interact with the case more than the buds. This is a solid case overall. The brushed metal design is great. It is a good slender case that is similar in size to the Sony buds but metal not plastic. There is a single LED and it does support wireless charging. It is a great case with one nitpick. I wish the magnets were a bit stronger. In a purse or a gym bag, you may find buds flying around. All the other stuff: Battery life here is closing in on class leading. As long as you aren’t using the hifi codecs often, you will get over ten hours of use. Awesome. Connectivity is stable and fast. I have these connected to both of my phones and they connect to both immediately upon pulling out a bud. Further, these easily pass back and forth between the devices as needed. I was on one call today and got another on my work phone. It was ringing me to let me know I had the other call. Awesome. There is Spatial Audio here that sounds great especially for a movie. Lastly, the Technics app deserves a nod here. It is a really great app. Where the Sony app gives you everything, it is very convoluted. This app gives you sound customization, ANC control, and more but without being difficult to use. Oh, and there is a Find My component to the app that allows you to make sounds if you lose your buds or see where you last had them with location data. All so good. I will just say this about what Technics has done here. If these aren’t the best all around buds on the market, they are darn close. I am a huge fan and strongly recommend buying them. **UPDATE**I have had these a for a long time now and I still use them regularly. I ended up getting a set in the new blue color as well for review from Amazon and I love them even more. I also recently got the AirPod Pro 3’s and, while I love them, I still use these exclusively at the office for their multipoint connectivity between my laptop, iPhone, and Fold 7. They just do everything well and are as close to perfection of any buds I have ever owned. Still strongly recommending today.

      Amazing Earbuds!
Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2026

Full content visible, double tap to read brief content.

I've had these AZ100's for about 3 weeks now, and they are amazing. The sound quality is exceptional: excellent stage, detail, bass, mids, and highs are all clean. I did have to tweak the EQ a bit for my preferences, but these buds actually respond to the changes. And, it was amazing how many settings I tried that I actually liked, but were still distinct from each other. These are far better than SoundPeats H3 in this regard, although I was able to dial in the eq on those as well. But get them a little off and the H3's could be painful. The AZ100's manage to allow me to hear everything without any of it disappearing, or any of it becoming overwhelming, regardless of the frequency.

I also like the size and comfort. These are small but fit very well. They are snug, but still comfortable without causing any "hotspots" that get sensitive after wearing them for a while. I would add that the fit and shape does a good job at passive noice cancelling for me.

But the thing that has impressed me the most is the ANC. I have a particular use case. I'm a cyclist. The wind noise of cycling is always particularly challenging for ANC, particularly once you get past about 15 mph. With most other earbuds I just turn the ANC off on the bike, because at around 17-18 mph it tends to make things worse. But with the AZ100's set on automatic, I could actually hear it adjusting to the wind noise. Even at 20-25 mph they were doing reasonable job. Get past 25 mph, and well the wind is loud, but it's loud regardless of earbuds, ANC, or nothing. But, and here's the kicker, somehow, the AZ100's again set to auto, allow me to hear approaching cars, even from behind, while keeping the wind noise down. Either one of the ANC sound engineers was a cyclist, or there's some kind of voodoo in there. The performance of ANC on the AZ100’s set on automatic is as good or better than the “Wind” setting on Earfun Air Pro 4+. (The H3’s were unusable while riding in any setting including turning the ANC off.)

One note: when I first started using the AZ100's I used the default medium size tips, and they were working great. But after using the software to select the "ideal" size, it shifted me to the small size. This fit fine and was stable while riding, however the ANC quality in the wind deteriorated significantly, so I went back to the Medium tips, and things are better. I'm not sure why this is. I suspect I'm right on the line between the two sizes, and the combination of heat and sweat from the physical activity loosens the fit up slightly? Regardless, I get a better seal and ANC performance with one size larger than the software recommended. YMMV.

The battery life is great. Phone calls (I've only done a few) have been fine. I really couldn't be happier.

PHENOMENAL! Exceptional sound, unbelievable call quality

I bought these for the rave reviews I'd read about the exceptional sound for music playback - which is absolutely incredible - but a surprise feature is the call quality, in terms of what the microphones can pickup: and what these block out. With the "AI" feature turned on, it eliminates background noise on your side. It's so good it's wild.

Let's talk about the call quality first. This is a game changer for me, as I'm on MS Teams calls throughout the day - and I have young kids at home as well, plus I will sometimes I have to speak on a call and I'm in the car or not quite in the house and it's windy out. Being on the go is not really something you want to convey in a work call.

I picked these up before heading to Disneyland the week of Thanksgiving with the kiddos. While there, my sister called. There were no less than one million people there at that time, many talking near me, music in the background, all this sound. She asked where I was. I said, "Disneyland." She was surprised because she couldn't hear anything in the background. So I looked into it and found out the "AI" voice call setting was flipped on by default.

You can actually test this yourself in the accompanying Technics phone app. In the test, it'll continuously record your voice and play it back on a few-second delay. With the AI enhancement OFF, it's great at capturing sound around you like typical earbuds. With it on, it's ultra clear and only your voice.

I mean, it's so good I've been telling everyone I know about these. Today I was sitting next to my 3YO, 6" away, who was actively screaming at the 5YO, 3' away. Whoever I'm talking to *cannot hear this*!! I've even been at a DIY car wash with the sprayer in my hand, full blast, on a windy day. While I didn't hear that audio myself, the person I called said they couldn't really hear anything in the background. I seriously cannot believe how good these are. I'm so confident in how well they block out background sound that I will do dishes while I'm unmuted on small group work call. (For much larger group calls, I don't need to experiment: I'll be muted in Teams, turn off my microphone on my phone, and mute these as well.)

One feature I haven't tried yet: there's even an AI feature to block background noise on the other end of the call, too. So if your friend is in a noise place, it can block *their* background noise for you. I haven't encountered this scenario yet but I bet it works great.

Audio quality is outstanding. There's a built-in EQ, plus your phone's as well, of course. Between the two - and the Dolby Atmos on my Samsung - the bass is surprisingly deep, mid and highs clear, and they have a great sound stage. I listed to music from Qobuz (CD quality at minimum) and very much appreciate HiFi audio. It's fun to listen to music all over again on these earbuds. There's some kind of Dolby Atmos feature built into these where the sound changes if you move your head around. I haven't played with that yet. You also have options to block out background noise when listening to audio (a few ANC settings) and the pass-through feature, too, which lets in background sound and has a voice focus setting that works great.

What else: they connect to multiple sources, are comfortable to wear (I can have them in for a few hours straight), and I haven't had issues with battery life despite wearing them for calls much of the day. I'm still getting used to the button taps on the right and left earbuds (one tap for this, long tap for another feature) but these are customizable, too.

I would say the one part I'm getting used to is the size. Maybe it's the drivers that make them a little bit bigger. I'm coming from the Jabra Elite 7 Pro's and also the Anker Soundcore sleep buds (which are much smaller and flush with your ear, of course) - so these feel a touch larger. But for the top-notch audio quality and amazing ability to block my background noise for call recipients, it's not an issue.

These were on sale before Thanksgiving - maybe check the price history - but for the features here and my new ability to actively move around without concern on work or personal calls, the value is unsurpassed. I absolutely love these and would encourage you to buy them if you want amazing earbuds for music and voice calls.

So far so good. Got them to help me hear and they do that great! So could've been 5 stars and still might after more time with them. I've had them for 2-3days so far.

      My pros:

Great to help listen in loud environments. I didnt know I had a mild level of APS. So they do help with isolating sounds.

      Noise Cancelling is outstanding.

      Music sound quality is awesome.

Phone calls are phenomenal. Wife could not hear the background noise during our while I was driving at HWY speeds with all 4 windows open and I could hear her clearly.

Battery life so far I haven't had them drain out. But I'm still getting used to earbuds and have to take them out after about an hour or less.

      App options are extensive.

I think I glossed over it too much, but think you can set up the earbud controls however you want for it to be intuitive to you. They're intuitive to me out of the box, volume on left earbud, playback on right.

      Case is tiny, lightweight.

      Case is wireless chargeable.

      Multiple earbud touch controls.

      Music pauses when removing them.

      Syncing is seamless.

Can listen to music with just one earbud. But lose controls that are the other pair.

Volume is without a doubt great.

XS, S, M, ML, L, and XL ear tips/pads included.

FIND EARPHONES option!! New to me so excited about being able to find them since they are small.

Can find case ability, will be testing find location ability in detail later today and post update.

      Cons:

App sucks during setup for the ear buds sizing. Could not complete the entire earbud tip/pad process without it timing out or music start playing due to touching the controls. And when was able to run it selected the best tip/pad it would choose a different size when rerunning the test 3 different times.

      Overwhelming amount of app settings.

Equalizer settings are great. I usually do custom setting with Bass on 7-9, Mids 5-6, Treble of 8-9. But the Dynamic is spot on crystal clear and perfect.

Volume could be dangerous if you accidently hit the volume up control on you since it doesnt require much volume gain to hear it clearly thats how good the Hi-FI is. Have to browse the app to see if it has volume safety setting. I could use my Galaxy device volume safety settings but it may or may not affect sound quality, dont know.

Case is tiny with no clip on or way to secure it, no lanyard or loophole to purchase an after market lanyard.

Touch controls don't arent intuitive to me.

Case does not have audible location ability. And if earbuds are inside the case the location sound ability does not work since they have to be connected to the phone.

      Personal note:

Since its my first in ear buds, I get ear fatigue fast. It varies per ear, depending on how I place them. I am waiting for foam tip replacements for them to see if it helps. Hope it doesnt affect its noise canceling or any of its features.

Will update after a month or so.

      A game-changer for me!

Amazing sound! Best I've ever heard from a set of earbuds. I moved up from a cheap pair with no ANC, and the difference in quality is immensely noticeable.

I spent WEEKS mulling over which brand and model to buy. I'm a casual audiophile, so I wanted incredible sound while also factoring in comfort, features, battery life, and user reviews.

I narrowed down my options to this and the B&W Pi8, which I knew would also be a good choice. The reason I chose this over the Pi8 is use reviews. Nobody complains about the sound quality of the Pi8, but the overall user experience for the AZ100 was higher, so that swayed my decision.

Let me tell you, brother, I am more than happy with my choice! Here is what I love about this product:

Sound quality: Listening to Ultra HD music with LDAC enabled is a religious experience. I'm listening to some music I've heard a LOT before, but it's an all-new experience for me. It's like falling madly in love with the same person all over again! I prefer stereo mode, but using positional audio with Dolby Atmos and head tracking is a nice option, and I've found it to be really great on certain tracks, especially those specifically designed with 360 audio in mind.

Comfort: My old, cheap earbuds were pretty good, for the price, but I had to fiddle with them a lot to get to stay in and feel okay. Once you go through the guide to figure out what size tips to use, these earbuds "lock in" better and feel great. It's like I forget they are even there. The longest I've ever used them so far is two hours straight, and I felt zero discomfort.

Noise cancelling: Impressive! I've never experienced ANC before, so I cannot compare it to Sony or other brands, but this is a game-changer for me. I live in a very quiet house in an extremely quiet neighborhood in the middle of nowhere, and I thought ANC would be overkill at home, but I was wrong. It's crazy how much ambient noise there is that you don't even think about. When I turned ANC on at home, I think I audibly gasped! I had never "heard" so much silence before! 😂

When I started listening to music, it was something special, and I knew I had made the right choice to spend good money on a premium product.

Customization: The app lets you adjust equalizer settings to your liking, which is a must for me. I know this is standard for premium earbuds, but my last one only had presets, and no matter what I did, the bass was always too much, even with the "Bass reducer" setting. I don't understand the appeal of the power frequencies overpowering everything... but I digress.

Beyond the equalizer adjustment, you also have so much control over the noise cancelling settings. When I'm at work, I can not only turn off ANC altogether, but I can adjust how much of the outside world is boosted. I have to be attentive to my coworkers and notifications on my computer, so it's amazing to be able to hear everything so clearly and still be able to hear the music in such amazing detail.

I cannot say anything negative about this. $300 is a lot to spend on earbuds, so that may be one aspect of this that some would find as a negative, but this is probably the last set of earbuds I'll buy for a VERY long time, so that's one way I justify the price. The other is that you really get what you pay for here. Multiple professional reviewers list this as the best overall option for 2025, and they have done that with good reason. If you are on the fence like I was, and you can afford the premium price tag, I think you'll be beyond satisfied with your purchase.

There's a balance to these that competitors cannot offer.

Update: 5 stars! The voice isolation on calls is out of this world. I can chew a crunchy bag of Gardetto's without the person I'm talking to hearing any of it. Airport announcements? I was asked if I made it into the airport at all in the middle of an announcement.

Fitment: They stay put in my ears and, for once, the recommended sizes work as expected. They handled running, weightlifting (laying on a bench, decline, and repetitive up/down movements)

Connectivity: Rapid. The moment they're powered up, both connect. Gone are the inconsistencies experienced especially with Sony's effort.

Comfort: This is tricky but a necessary method for my ears. When I set them in, they must sit flat against my ear. Otherwise, the inner top edge does irritate me after prolonged use. Fortunately this not only helps with comfort, but vastly improves the seal. I can smile without ANC notably reducing.

Sound: I don't think they're loud enough despite my best effort to improve this, but I'm pretty sure louder can be damaging.

ANC: It's just okay. These are begging for foam tips but for the sake of comfort, I'll stick with what these can do.

      ----------

Direct comparison to the King of the earbuds hill for ANC and voice isolation on calls. I'll go through every aspect. As far as I'm concerned, these are the only true bud-for-bud competition for the WF-1000XM5.

Ease of use - while the Sony app is arguely more GUI based, the Panasonic/Technics effort is effective after you get past the overwhelming amount of text. Initial iss (first few attempts) are easier on the Sony. After that, you find odd menu placement on Sony's whereas the Technics menus have some redundancy to find items you may miss elsewhere. Most importantly, it offers a level of customization that Sony doesn't touch.

Volume Control - Both are fine. Continuous taps, double and triple taps, etc. they all work. Does it work as well as the crown on my smartwatch? No. Does it bother me? Also no.

Battery life - this is close, but the Sony's edge out the AZ100s with full ANC. It's a tie in my book but let's call a spade a spade; they're within 1/2hr of one another in favor of the Sony buds.

Durability - Both have the same resistance. I'd say it's fine. I can see them taking a drop and blowing out of the case. Don't drop the baby!

Value - sub-$250? I think they're worth it. There are some fatal flaws that other buds succumbed. Not these. They are well-rounded, albeit not incredible ar everything.

Now that I knocked out some high level pointl, let's talk about what matters to me on a broader comparison of brands.

      Comparison note: Bose QC Buds V2 (QC2), LinkBuds S (LBS), WF-1000XM5 (XM5), OnePlus Buds Pro 3 (BP3), Google Buds Pro 2 (GB2), and the AZ100 (AZ1)

Noise canceling - Top? XM5. The AZ1 trail most of the other earbuds. Too much high pitched noise comes in and the ANC initial adjustment process makes you second guess what you're doing. My order of ANC would be XM5, GB2, LBS, BP3, AZ1, and QC2 in last. The QC2 have a bug with pressure stabilization. Shut a car door and the feedback is atrocious. I've tried 2 sets with the same results.

Voice isolation on calls (own voice) - This is easily a win doe the XM5 followed by the AZ1, GB2, QC2, LBS and BP3. The XM5 bone conduction mics and the processing power behind it makes it impossibly effect in certain scenarios. Like, you can chew an ice cube and the person you're talking to won't hear it. The GB2 and AZ1 are beam forming, but the AZ1 voice AI does seem to edge out Google's measures. The QC2 didn't bother cutting out wind noise when a car window is open. Same with the BP3. LBS severely clip your voice in most cases. To be fair, voice distortion seems to be inevitable with all calls in loud environments. Isolation of background noises is the emphasis of my point.

Music - I feel like it's the QC2 for the win. Not on overall volume, but clarity and bands. The AZ1 and XM5 sound similar to me. GB2 and LBS are also similar. BP3 were my least favorite here with the unusually "rich" sound. Definitely not something I'd consider "reference". If you like that, they lean towards more of a punchy sound. It's not as rich, but it's definitely that out of the box.

Spatial sound - QC2 sounds cool. Neither the LBS or XM5 were tested due to accessibility limitations. AZ1 was okay, but it makes it sound distant. The rest weren't notable. I have to say, this feature isn't one I leave enabled. It's weird that music moves around my head. Not my cup of tea.

Customization - AZ1 are the most customizable in every way. The rest are a tie as far as I'm concerned.

Fitment - Every single app misleads me on which tip works best. Every single bud has something I don't inherently like about it. Nearly all except 2 have the same issue and, you probably guessed it, comes down to the buds not staying in my ear. The LBS and AZ1 are the best at staying put. I think it's a matter of weight and these are both fairly light products. The GB2 come close to perfect but that wingtip makes my ear sore where it's pressing. The seal is a problem when I move around or workout. XM5 are massive and heavy. Even that foam tip doesn't stand a chance and wiggling them around constantly hits the capacitive buttons. QC2 are just weird. They feel like they're floating in your ear but I never get a good seal, which plays into the ANC feedback that literally will damage your ear. BP3 just fall out. They are effectively laying in my ear.

Do I recommend the AZ100 aka AZ1? ABSOLUTELY! My day is spent on calls at work, talking to family, and workouts. These are the winning blend of everything. A daily driver or Every Day Carry (EDC) if you will.

If the XM5 are near the sale price of the AZ100, I'd consider you trying them out. They are heavy and bulky but it's an experience worth knowing. The QC2 may work better for smaller ears as well as the GB2 and BP3, but I wouldn't recommend the last one at all. The instead, look for the LinkBuds S for that budget buy.

I hope this helps. It was a brutal adventure finding a device that works for me. Cheers on your journey and kudos to the Technics team for making such a well balanced product!

Here is the breakdown:

Sound: This is how I start every review on buds because sound is the main purpose of any bud or headphone.

I love them both. However, the Sony’s are still a bit big and the multi connectivity, while present, isn’t the best. The AirPods are awesome but aren’t great for non Apple products. So, after putting this purchase off for many months, I finally pulled the ripcord and got these. They are awesome. Here is the breakdown:

Sound: This is how I start every review on buds because sound is the main purpose of any bud or headphone.

Very Nice Sound, not Quite Worth the Money.

I wanna start off by saying this is a good product, a nice pair of earbuds. The Bluetooth connection is fast and reliable, which I appreciate compared to my last pair of Apple AirPods. The sound quality is top-notch, maybe shy of some more expensive models like Beats or something, but definitely top-notch for the price range. I also like the look of them; they seem sleek, though a tad large, and they might take a little bit of time to adjust to if you’re used to more streamlined shapes.

However, the issue I find with them is in the charging. They rarely seem to charge properly; often I’ll set them in the case (the case being fully charged, mind you) and they won’t charge at all. It can be especially frustrating to find out they haven’t charged when you’re just about to start a workout or get on a plane, only to realize they’re dead. Which, for the price, I find to be a serious design flaw. I haven’t returned mine as I felt they were still worth keeping, but I’d look towards another brand if I were to buy again.

So Close to Perfect - Ambient Mode is AWESOME

These earbuds are SOOO close to being perfect it drives me crazy. I'm coming from the AZ-80s and most of the features are improved (but not all). Depending on your needs, my issues may or may not be relevant to you so let me break it down for you:

      Things I Love

      1) Transparent Mode & External Mics - these things are AMAZING! They work so good! I was especially impressed when I used them at a concert recently. The measure sound volume at the concert was 100-106db. I poped in the earbuds and set the mode to 14% transparent. The sound was GREAT and the volume level perfect. I tried the same with the AZ-80 but loud environments would override those mics. Not with these. The only time I've had a the external mic flake out is when I was weed-whacking and the string hit some metal siding. Honestly - super impressive!

      2) Sound Quality - I have very high standards when it comes to quality SQL. I've used these with many devices including an iBasso DX170 in LDAC mode and my phone. The sound detail is amazing. Hearing things in the music I dont typically hear with a pair of earbuds. Yes, the SQ is really that much better than the AZ-80.

      3) Phone Call Quality - Again, compared with the AZ-80, these are WAY better. I regularly take calls in my car and half of the year my convertible top is down. I've been able to have 20min plus conversations at highway speeds with the top down with the other party saying they could barely hear the road noise at all. Well done!

      Mixed Feelings

      1) Size and Shape - while I appreciate the smaller size of the AZ100 earbuds compared to the AZ80, they are a little more difficult to grab. They are more rounded and you have to be a little more intentional about getting a firm grip on them. Once they're in your ears, its a better more streamlined fit but you need to be a little slower and more careful moving them around.

      2) Noise Cancellation - when wearing them around home or out on a walk, noise cancellation works great. They seems to have some issues though maintaining the noise cancellation mode on airplanes. I've had the pleasure of testing them on a number of different flights recently and while everything starts off well, after 20-40 mins or so the noise cancelling will start to whoosh out and then back in. It might be something about the white noise of the airplane engines. To fix it, you have to open the app, turn noise cancelling off then back on. I've had this happen more than 25 times on a one hour flight.

      2) Battery Life - my fist set of earbuds had a battery drain issue. The left earbud would drain the entire pack just when sitting in the case not being used. Left me with a dead set within less than 24 hours of storage. The set was replaced under warranty and the 2nd set is working as advertised. The warranty process was a little bumpy - more on that below.

      3) Warranty - unfortunately I had the opportunity to try out the manufacturer warranty process due to a batter drain issue. Contacting and communicating with support was pretty good - they were responsive and helpful. The only challenge was that the replacement set came back to me in Silver when I returned a set of Black earbuds. When I inquired as to the incorrect color and how I could be sent the same color that had failed, I was pretty much told - too bad. You get what you get. Kind of sucks considering I ordered the color I wanted, they failed in less than 2 months and how I have a functional set ... except for the weird color. A small detail I know but it would have been better if support had notified my first rather than surprising me and then denying my request for the right color. I hope you mileage will vary.

      Things I Don't Love

      1) App Responsiveness & Reliability - in general the App works well once its open and successfully connected. Unfortunately I've had way too many times where the app cannot find the earbuds even when I'm playing music through them and Bluetooth shows connected. I just kill the App and restart but its really flaky. Even the initial load and connection of the app takes annoying longer than I'd like - especially when I'm only trying to change the transparency level or some other basic setting.

      2) Touch Responsiveness - switching the earbuds on/off when I'm at home or in a setting where I need to hear a PA announcement (ie. airport) seems to take a little while to register. I know I'm being a little picky but earbuds block you out of the world around you. It should be quick and easy to return your focus to the world around you as needed. Just takes a but longer to register the press and mute the earbuds than is helpful. Many times the announcement was over or I would have missed most of the question by the time I got the earbuds muted. Could be quicker/easier.

      Nice sound!

I own the AZ80 and am still purchasing this upgraded version. The earpiece is now smaller and more comfortable than the AZ80.
