Man, I avoided downloading this app for the longest time. Every time I saw the ads I would ignore them. Based on previous experiences in the past with similar apps, and highly inaccurate results, I figured it would be more of the same. Instead I relied on Google lens and my own research to identify plants. Eventually I caved “just to see” and it’s been my go to ever since. It’s insanely accurate. Do yourself a favour and download this if you want to instantly identify practically any plant you come across. Honestly our modern tech has exceeded my past self’s expectations so much, in all the small things (Shout out to blink 182 for keeping it real 25/8. Rock on, my dudes) all the time. Cant wait for Elephant Musk to install my cyborg eyes so I can use this app automatically. Kudos to the creators. But my dog hates you guys. You make our walks much slower because I keep stopping to ID some teeny weed growing outta some dumb rock. Cool app.

Not able to logout from the app

Recently, I had the opportunity to look after my friend's plants, and he kindly provided me with his login credentials for the Picturethis App. During this time, I found the app to be useful and informative. As a result, I decided to subscribe to the app myself after my friend's plants were no longer under my care.However, upon subscribing to the app, I encountered a significant issue that hindered my overall experience. It appears that there is no apparent way to log out from the app. As a user, I expected to have control over my account and the ability to switch between accounts seamlessly. Unfortunately, without a logout option, I was unable to use the app with my own account. This limitation significantly detracted from the value and usability of the app for me.In my attempt to resolve this issue, I tried deleting my friend's account from my phone, assuming it would allow me to log in with my own account. Regrettably, this action resulted in unintended consequences. All of my friend's plants and his entire history within the app were inadvertently deleted. This was a distressing experience for both myself and my friend, as we lost valuable data and his plant collection.Implement a clear and accessible logout option within the app. Users should be able to switch accounts or log out whenever desired, ensuring seamless transitions between different accounts.Introduce a confirmation prompt when deleting an account or any significant action that could potentially result in data loss. This will prevent accidental deletions and provide users with an opportunity to reconsider their actions.

This app is invaluable…my daughter bought a new house and the builder had planted shrubs right beside the house. All lovely looking and attractive to buyers until I looked them up on Picture This… the two nearest the window are pittosporum which will eventually reach 8x 4metres, and Portugese Laurel which will reach 6m x 4.5m.A hydrangea is planted a foot away from them , among others 🤷♀️I could go on… there are fourteen plants in a 3x3 metre space.Thank you Picture This.We have some digging up to do!
