Subject: Critical Bug – "Invite to Follow" Feature Completely Non-Functional Across Multiple Pages (No Invite List Ever Populates) Bug Description: The "Invite to Follow" feature (the option that allows page admins to invite users who have reacted to a post but don't yet follow the page) is completely non-functional on all pages I manage. Observed Symptoms: · Despite receiving over 100,000+ unique reactions (Likes, etc.) per month across my pages from users who do not currently follow the page, the invitation list consistently shows "No one to invite" – it is perpetually empty. · The pages have only ~39,000 followers, meaning there is a massive pool of potential invitees, yet the system never surfaces a single user. · Occasionally, a single user's name does appear directly below a post (the individual invite option), but when I click on that name, the invite cannot be completed – it either errors out or does nothing. · The bulk invite option always shows 0 people available – never any list, not even a single name. · This issue has persisted for several months and is not intermittent; it is constant across all times of day and all post types.
Conclusion & Root Cause Hypothesis: Based on the evidence, this is not a user-side configuration or account health issue. It appears to be a backend synchronization bug on Meta's side – specifically, a failure in the data pipeline that links post-reaction events (from non-followers) to the invitation list generation system. The platform is not recognizing these interactions as eligible invite candidates. Only Meta/Facebook engineering can resolve this – but I cannot reach you.
I’m sending this message to some people at Meta who might be able to help me. My name is Antonio Carlos, I’m from SP Capital. I have a laundry - a franchise of the OMO brand in the south zone of SP. On Monday I was deleting posts from my Instagram Business account and suddenly my account was blocked. The message said "we blocked your account to protect you from a possible hack. Use one of the contact methods below to recover your account." Record a video selfie or Get help from friends. See, it’s a business account. @omolavanderia_vila_mascote. I tried multiple times to unlock it using the selfie method and nothing. I don’t have friends on the business account, only clients. I even sent it to some acquaintances that appeared and nothing. I tried all the ways to unlock it via help center, appeal, Meta AI chat. Well, I know it’s an account with 6,000 followers, but as a laundry, that’s not a bad number. Hello Meta My 2011 Facebook profile has been disabled even though I have not done anything that is against the Facebook Community Guidelines. There are some groups under my profile that are very necessary for business. There are also some pages that are for my business. Now I am unable to open the groups and pages, which is causing a lot of damage to my business every day. I want my profile back.
