We are now focusing more on data-driven reporting and execution when working with business teams. This approach helps us in two ways. First, it creates immediate value for our business. Here are some insights we discovered: 🎫 Service tickets: We analyzed thousands of support tickets and found that one-sixth came from just three repeatable issues. When you notice this, it’s easy to take proactive steps with the teams. 💼 Application portfolio: We discovered that 23% of our applications lack a business owner. This raised important questions about which applications we should keep and maintain. 💰 Order-to-cash process: Data showed us something unexpected. What looked like process bottlenecks were actually four different sub-processes. The key lesson? Sometimes it's not about fixing the average performance.
