We pulled the numbers from our recruitment targeting engines, and three industries are screaming for agencies that can move fast: 1. HEALTHCARE & LIFE SCIENCES Where the demand is: • Nonclinical support roles: Revenue cycle specialists (1.4% unemployment - basically zero) • Health informatics analysts: Hospitals desperate for data-driven patient care optimization • Corporate wellness consultants: New desk territory most agencies are ignoring The shift: 193,000 new healthcare jobs added in just Q1 2025. Biotech firms are paying premium fees for Computational Biologists and Regulatory Specialists — 80% can't fill critical research and manufacturing roles. 2. FINTECH & FINANCIAL SERVICES Where the demand is: • FinTech engineers: 93% projected growth through 2030 • Cybersecurity specialists for banks: Zero candidates, infinite demand • Compliance analysts for digital banks: Cloud-based hiring systems can't keep up The shift: 600+ fintech M&A deals in 2024 (up 46% YoY). Financial services posted 136,700 jobs in H1 2025 — a 70% increase from 2024. 3. TECH & AI INFRASTRUCTURE Where the demand is: • AI/ML specialists: 82% growth projected, Big Data Specialists at 113% • Cloud engineers (AWS/Azure): Premium salaries, contract-to-hire models dominating • DevOps and cybersecurity: Specialists commanding top rates while junior roles face competition The shift: Tech's not dead, it's selective. AI and information processing alone will create 11M roles by 2030. The best firms are launching new desks in 3-4 weeks, not 6 months. They're using AI-powered targeting engines (like Clay) + automated outbound to validate demand and start placements before competitors even research the market. At Fuze, we've built the exact system that lets agencies do this — AI + Automation + Outbound stitched together so you can spin up a Healthcare Tech desk or FinTech practice in weeks. The targeting data in this post? That's what our Clay engines surface every day for clients who need to move fast on market shifts. Markets are moving. Your desks should too...

𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚’𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 A few days ago, I shared a message for new graduates entering #healthcare - encouraging them to lead with curiosity, not just credentials. To build not just a resume, but a mindset. That reflection stayed with me. India’s #pharmaceutical and #biotech sectors are on the rise - with innovative therapies, vaccine breakthroughs, AI enabled digital health platforms and so much more, shaping the future. This pivot from volume to value puts one thing front and center: talent. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞? ▪️ 𝐀𝐈/𝐌𝐋, 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 - powering precision medicine ▪️𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 - trial design, real-world evidence ▪️𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 - navigating global frameworks ▪️𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 - enabling complex therapies ▪️𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 - adaptability, collaboration, and lifelong learning 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐈𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞? 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 - Expand skilling programs in universities and vocational centers - Launch fellowships, apprenticeships, and industry-linked internships - Offer incentives for firms investing in workforce development 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚 - Modernise curriculum to reflect today’s science and tomorrow’s needs - Enable joint industry-academic projects and global faculty exchanges - Focus on real-world readiness through placements and hands-on labs 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 - Build internal academies and experience hubs like NEST by Novartis Development India Hub - Co-design early-career programs across R&D, regulatory, and supply chain - Promote digital fluency through open workshops and national challenges To professionals, educators, and policymakers: Let’s come together to nurture the minds that will build tomorrow’s cures. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 India is evolving from a ‘generics powerhouse’ to an ‘innovation-first life sciences leader’. This evolution needs to be backed by a talent ecosystem that’s not just skilled - but future-ready. #LifeSciences #HealthcareInnovation #SkillingIndia #WorkforceDevelopment #STEMCareers #TalentFirs

  • We are in a strange moment where headlines say “job growth is strong” — and yet many graduates are struggling to land their first role. Both are true. India is adding millions of jobs, but the nature of hiring has fundamentally shifted. Companies are no longer hiring for degrees. They are hiring for demonstrable skills, adaptability, and the ability to create value quickly. So where are the real opportunities today? First, technology — but not in the way we understood it a decade ago ! Generic coding roles are no longer the safe bet. Demand is sharply shifting toward AI, data, cybersecurity, and cloud. The bar is higher, but so are the rewards. Second, BFSI is emerging as an underrated powerhouse. Banking, insurance, and fintech are seeing steady expansion, driven by India’s digital and financial inclusion story. Roles in risk, analytics, and product are growing quietly but consistently. Third, healthcare and life sciences remain one of the most resilient sectors. From hospital administration to health-tech, this space offers stability that few others can match. Fourth, renewable energy and sustainability are not just trends — they are long-term structural shifts. Careers in solar, EVs, and ESG will compound over the next decade. Fifth, manufacturing and supply chains are making a comeback. With global realignments, India is seeing renewed momentum here. These are not glamorous roles, but they are meaningful and durable. And then there are Global Capability Centres — perhaps the least talked about opportunity. These are increasingly becoming hubs for high-quality work across analytics, finance, and product functions. At the same time, some realities need to be acknowledged. The traditional IT services path is no longer a guaranteed entry point. Low-skill white-collar roles are shrinking. And competition is no longer just local — it is global, and increasingly, it includes AI. So what should a new graduate actually do? Stop thinking in terms of degrees. Start thinking in terms of skill stacks. A commerce graduate with data skills will outperform a generic MBA. A mechanical engineer who understands automation and AI will have an edge over a traditional profile. A fresher who can demonstrate real-world problem solving will always stand out. Also, don’t obsess over the “perfect first job.” Focus on the right entry point — roles that give exposure, learning, and momentum. Careers today are built through pivots, not linear ladders. Finally, avoid crowded thinking. If everyone is chasing the same path, it will only get harder. Being slightly above average in a less crowded, high-growth area is far more powerful than being average in a saturated one. The opportunity landscape is not shrinking. It is evolving. And those who understand this shift early will do disproportionately well and enjoy the fruits of the effort ! #jobs #newgraduates #recruitment #indiajobs

🎮 The 20x1 Gap in Entry-Level Gaming Roles (and what to do) According to our data at Amir Satvat's Games Community, the most comprehensive source tracking gaming jobs worldwide, there is only a 6% over 12 months success rate for applicants to open entry-level roles in the games industry. Many of you ask me, “Where is the opposite happening? Where are there far more jobs than candidates?” If your goal is stable, well-paying employment, here are some sectors worth looking at, with data as of 2025. 🎯 Cybersecurity There is a global shortfall of roughly 4.8 million cybersecurity professionals in 2025. In the U.S. alone, there are over 457,000 open cybersecurity jobs, with not nearly enough trained professionals to fill them. 🩺 Healthcare (Nursing and Allied Roles) The U.S. is projected to be short over 500,000 registered nurses by the end of 2025. Allied health roles like surgical technicians and medical assistants also face critical shortages. In 2024, there were over 6 million openings in middle-skill healthcare roles, with 72 percent going unfilled. 🛠️ Skilled Trades and Advanced Manufacturing The U.S. continues to report over 500,000 unfilled jobs in manufacturing and the skilled trades. This is driven by a wave of retirements and a lack of incoming young talent. 📊 Finance and Accounting Unemployment in finance and accounting remains exceptionally low, in many roles, under 2 percent. 🤖 AI and Data Infrastructure AI job postings grew by 21 percent globally between 2023 and 2024 and remain strong in 2025. AI operations, prompt engineering, and data infrastructure support roles are surging. Many don’t require traditional CS degrees and can be accessed through microcredentials or apprenticeships. Many people's eyes glaze over when they see lists like these. But I’m very serious. I will keep bringing this up. Because the truth is, for many young people, even making it to the second or third ring of their job preference, let alone the dream job in the center, is growing harder, no matter how passionate they are. I'm not saying any of these paths must be yours. But I am saying that doing this kind of exercise, mapping supply and demand and finding a viable way to support yourself, is a healthy and responsible thing to do. And one we don’t talk about nearly enough. You never have to stop aiming your arrow at the dream. But the truth is, some may not reach it, and that doesn’t diminish the worth of the journey. While you work toward what you hope for, it’s okay, and often necessary, to find something that supports you along the way. If that path offers fair wages, room to grow, and some stability, it’s not giving up. It’s caring for yourself and making a responsible, thoughtful choice. We need to stop treating these decisions as failures or signs of lacking passion. In reality, they’re thoughtful, praiseworthy, and deeply pragmatic steps forward.

The Australian job market is about to look very, very different. Sure headlines love caution - slowing growth, global uncertainty, interest rates, the works. But zoom out, and a different picture emerges. The growth sectors aren’t hiding, they’re right in front of us. Healthcare, green energy, digital, care economies, infrastructure… all expanding, all hiring. Think about this way… Our ageing population → healthcare, aged care, and wellbeing roles are expanding fast. Decarbonisation → net zero targets are creating whole new industries in renewables, ESG, and green infrastructure. Digital transformation → AI and automation are changing how every business operates, demanding new blends of tech and human capability. Care economies → childcare, disability, and mental health services are labour intensive, government backed, and scaling. Globalisation 2.0 → supply chains and migration are shifting toward APAC, positioning Australia as a major regional talent hub. Population growth → nearly 30 million Australians by the mid-2030s means surging demand in housing, infrastructure, logistics, and public services. These aren’t distant megatrends - they’re already reshaping the jobs available, the skills in demand, and the way organisations need to think about talent. #samuelsdonegan #marketinsights

🚀 A new kind of career is emerging from China’s fast-growing robotics boom — and it’s not one most of us saw coming. In the race to build hyper-realistic humanoids, companies are now hiring robot makeup artists and stylists — specialists who design skin textures, paint facial features, apply synthetic “makeup,” and fine-tune aesthetics to ensure humanoid robots look approachable, expressive, and ready for real-world interaction. One standout example is Shanghai-based AheadForm’s Origin M1, a humanoid head module powered by dozens of micro-motors, embedded cameras, and AI systems that deliver lifelike expressions and naturalistic gestures. The hardware is impressive — but so is the new workforce emerging around it. 🤖 🌱 And this is just the beginning. New job categories are forming around humanoid robotics, including: 🔧 Robot Expression Designers – shaping micro-expressions, smiles, eye movements, and emotional “signatures.” 🎨 Synthetic Skin Technicians – developing realistic skin materials, pigmentation, and tactile coatings. 🧠 AI Personality Architects – defining conversational style, tone, and emotional behavior models. 🩺 Robot Wellness & Maintenance Specialists – providing preventive upkeep for facial actuators, sensors, and mobility components. 👗 Robotic Wardrobe & Identity Designers – crafting clothing, accessories, and public-facing personas for service humanoids. 📚 Human–Robot Interaction Trainers – teaching robots socially appropriate behaviors for hospitality, healthcare, education, and retail. As robotics moves from industrial settings into public life, the talent ecosystem is expanding with roles that blend engineering, design, psychology, and art. 💡 The future of work will be far more interdisciplinary than we imagine — and jobs around robots may end up being as human as ever. If I were building a career for 2026 and beyond, here are the industries I’d place all my bets on. A few days ago, someone in my coaching community asked: “Should I keep applying in tech or move to something else entirely?” It’s a fair question amid layoffs, slowdowns, and recruiters ghosting people. But here’s what I told them, and I’ll tell you too: Tech isn’t dead. It’s just evolving. And if you're paying attention, these are the industries that are quietly (and steadily) growing ⬇️ 1. AI & Machine Learning Every company is asking: how can we use AI to do better, faster, cheaper work? And they’ll need builders - prompt engineers, ML ops, model trainers. Not just researchers. 2. Cloud, Data & Infra Engineering All digital transformations lead here. If you can manage data pipelines, cloud platforms, and infra at scale, you’re future-proofing your career. 3. Cybersecurity The more tech we build, the more security we need. Startups, finance, health, government, everyone is hiring in this space. 4. Fintech & Tech-Driven Finance Roles Fintech is heating up again, especially at the intersection of AI + finance + automation. If you have a finance or analytics background, now’s the time to lean in. 5. Mid-size tech product firms You don’t have to crack FAANG to grow. Smaller firms are hiring with urgency, offering more ownership and often less red tape. If I were job-searching, I’d stop chasing trends and start preparing for what’s next. → Learn the skills these industries need. → Build depth, not just surface-level buzzwords. → Talk to people already inside those industries. → Start now, don’t wait for the market to get “easy.” Because careers aren’t built in one big move. They’re built in steps, well-timed, well-informed ones. 📁 Save this if you’re thinking about your next move. Follow Shreya Mehta 🚀 for job strategies that work in today’s market, and land your dream role in the U.S.
