I have managed over 500 influencer campaigns and grew Vavo Digital | Influencer Marketing to multiple 6 figures in the last 4 years.  Here are 15 key tips I would give anyone looking to run a successful influencer campaign (in no particular order): 1. Utilize Micro-Influencers Collaborate with micro-influencers who have a highly engaged niche audience for more authentic reach. 2. Create a Branded Hashtag Design a catchy, memorable hashtag to unify campaign posts across platforms. Example: #RedefineYourStyle for a fashion campaign. 3. Involve Influencers in Product Development Take influencers' input when designing or testing the product to make their endorsement more genuine. 4. Run an Influencer Challenge Create a fun, interactive challenge that encourages influencers and their followers to participate. Example: A fitness brand launching a 30-day workout challenge. 5. Utilize Instagram Stories Takeovers Have influencers take over your brand’s Instagram stories for a day to engage their followers. 6. Co-create content with Influencers Collaborate on content creation to blend both your brand and the influencer’s identity. Example: A beauty brand and a makeup artist co-producing tutorial videos. 7. Leverage Trending Topics Time your campaign with trending cultural or industry-related topics to stay relevant. 8. Exclusive Sneak Peeks Offer influencers early access to a product and allow them to give their audience exclusive sneak peeks. 9. Launch Teasers Get influencers to drop teaser posts to create buzz before the full campaign launch. 10. Collaborate with Multiple Influencers Bring together influencers from different niches for a cross-industry impact. 11. Interactive Q&A Sessions Host live Q&A sessions with influencers to engage followers in real time. 12. Influencer Gifting Send personalized gifts or product packages to influencers with a request for an authentic review. 13. Gamify the Campaign Introduce a game element, like a competition or leaderboard, that influencers can promote. 14. Highlight User-Generated Content Encourage followers of influencers to create their own content using your product, and feature the best ones. 15. Offer Influencer-Exclusive Discounts Provide influencers with unique discount codes to share with their followers. Virality isn't just about views. It's about creating a ripple effect of sharing, discussing, and remixing. Focus on sparking genuine emotions and connections. What's the most memorable viral campaign you've seen lately? #influencermarketing #socialmedia

Shopping feed SEO tip: Google doesn’t show organic Shopping results as flat lists (they’re ranked), and digital tests show CTR plays a role in that. I know this because I've tested seasonality, freshness and title optimisation within feeds and saw a clear impact on CTR. Here’s what I found: - Adding “use case” to product titles = +11% CTR lift - Updating PVU schema monthly increased impressions - Titles with urgency or time modifiers (“Autumn sales”, “Fall Drop”) = higher Shopping visibility - Richer schema helps higher inclusion rate in free listings This shows us something important: Google is ranking these free Shopping listings and not just randomly them. And that ranking may respond to freshness signals and user behaviour (CTR). So how do you optimise for clicks? Here’s what’s working in Shopping feed SEO right now: 1. Treat your titles like ad copy - Add urgency to your titles - Include examples like “winter”, “Limited Drop”, “Back to School” - Use power words in titles - Use titles “Best-Selling”, “Top Rated” 2. Feed freshness helps trust signals - Keep priceValidUntil current - Use supplemental feeds to push updates - Refresh descriptions quarterly, even if unchanged 3. Enrich your schema with product data - Use all available product attributes - Ensure GTIN, availability, condition, etc., are clean and consistent - Add reviews schema when possible There's more but this is a solid way to get started! ----- Google Shopping’s free listings aren’t free traffic. They’re earned. But the good news? Most brands aren’t treating them like a real SEO channel yet. That’s the opportunity. I can share a guide I made for shopping clicks optimisation if you'd like it?

We analyzed 46 million e-commerce sessions across 150+ brands to understand how product price shapes browsing behavior. The $500-$1,000 range is a clear engagement sweet spot. Visitors in that bucket view 24% more products and spend 48% longer on site compared to visitors browsing sub-$200 products. More browsing, more time, more consideration. Then something interesting happens above $1,000. Time on site continues to increase, but products viewed drops 20%, back to the same level as the cheapest price tier. These shoppers aren't browsing your catalog. They already know what they want. They're spending that time building conviction on a single item. The historical "High AOV" bucket is actually two segments with divergent behavior. If you sell across price tiers, this matters. The $500-$1,000 shopper wants to explore and compare. The $1,000+ shopper wants depth on one product. Same funnel, different jobs. You should be designing for both.

Influencer marketing has been a go-to strategy for engaging #holiday shoppers in 2024. So how did brands stand out in a crowded #creator market? Here are five learnings for brands from #creatormarketing campaigns we have executed at TERRITORY Influence (Bertelsmann Group) over the last weeks: 1. Don’t expect exclusivity with #creators over the holiday season. The holidays are a busy time for #influencers, with packed schedules and inboxes full of offers. Rather than pushing for exclusivity, focus on how your brand can stand out within their #socialmedia feed. Provide them with the best possible brief, creative freedom and materials to help tell an authentic story about your product. 2. Add a messaging blast to your campaign. Many influencers now expand their reach by including #email options alongside sponsored posts, making it an effective addition to holiday campaigns. 3. Bring back the old-school home party. An influencer hosting a cozy holiday party at home, featuring your brand in a real-life, relatable setting, can make a lasting impact. A holiday baking session with your #food brand or a festive cocktail night featuring your ingredients can resonate with both guests and the influencer's audience. 4. Lean into hacks and dupes. Influencers love sharing #content that offers real value, and showcasing how your brand helps people save money or stretch their budget will resonate with their audience. Be clear in your influencer brief by sharing creative ideas or examples of how your product fits into the hacks or dupes category. 5. Lean into Recipes, Tablescapes and DIY. People are constantly looking for fresh ideas, whether it’s fun new appetizers or creative holiday decor, and they often turn to #influencers for that inspiration. If your brand fits into the food, home decor or DIY space, now’s the time to partner with influencers to create visually appealing, shareable content. The holidays are a great time to reach consumers with #influencerMarketing—but with so much happening, it’s even more important to plan your approach carefully and connect with a trustworthy agency partner (such as TERRITORY Influence) well in advance. Typically #influencers are fully booked by the end of summer, so do reach out to our experts in Q2 to start planning your 2025 holiday campaign.

When we think about websites, the homepage usually gets all the love and attention. It’s the face of your brand, the first impression. But if you really want to boost sales and grow your business, your product pages deserve way more focus than the homepage. The product page is where the magic happens. It’s where visitors decide whether they want to buy or not. Your homepage might get people interested, but the product page seals the deal. It answers their questions, showcases the benefits, builds trust, and removes doubts. And this isn’t just about your own website. For brands that are omni-channel & retail on multiple marketplaces like Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart etc., your product pages on these platforms too need to tell the brand story. . And what many brand owners forget, your listing page & your brand store are free real estate on such marketplaces. Hence utilising them right not only is good use of free space but also a lot of backend metrics are scored on the listing scores. I have seen many D2C brands make one mistake - focus only on ads and miss that the product pages are often the first (and sometimes only) real interaction a customer has with your product before clicking the add to cart button. Optimise these pages with awesome images, detailed descriptions, reviews, and clear value propositions that can dramatically improve your conversion rates. If you want to improve your Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) on these channels, investing time and effort into perfecting your product pages is one of the highest-leverage moves you can make. Better pages mean happier customers, fewer returns, and more word-of-mouth. So next time you think about marketing budgets or website redesigns, don’t forget to ask yourself, how well are your product pages doing? Are they answering every question? Are they making it easy for your customer to “add to cart”? I personally like how brands like Brillare Science Limited & Juicy Chemistry have optimised usage of brand pages. They make you want to buy now! What’s the one product page you’ve seen that made you say, “Wow, I want this!”? #branding #productpages #marketing

Most brands hire influencers for a one-time campaign. A video, a post, maybe a short-term partnership. And that’s it. But I found Meesho’s Creator Marketplace (launched last week) doing the opposite. They aren’t just running influencer marketing campaigns. They’re turning content into commerce - where influencers don’t just promote, they sell. And that’s the real shift - from content being just a marketing tool to becoming the sales engine itself. Content has the power to build trust, influence decisions, and drive real action. Meesho had already been working with influencers - 21000 of them, driving a 3X increase in order volume through content commerce alone between January and December 2024. The introduction of the Creator Marketplace now makes it more structured and scalable, pulling influencers (and their content) instead of pushing them into one-off campaigns. (I even shared it with a couple of fashion influencers that I know.) Meesho’s approach is proof of this: 📌 No approvals. No middlemen. Just content → sales. 📌 Real-time analytics, AutoDM to share links of the products, and seamless product tagging. 📌 Earnings tied directly to performance, not fixed deals. And the numbers? 💰 10% commission on affiliate products 💰 0.5% commission on non-affiliate products 💰 Top creators making up to ₹5L/month More brands will likely follow this model where influencers aren’t just storytellers anymore - they are becoming distribution channels for brands. Content commerce will be the next big thing in the e-commerce space opening up plethora of opportunities for creators. Would love to hear thoughts from fellow marketers & creators. 👇 #content #influencer #CreatorEconomy #ecommerce

✅ 𝐌𝐢𝐝-𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐒𝐄𝐎 𝐓𝐢𝐩: Your product pages are leaking sales. 🤫 Too many e-commerce sites treat them like a simple inventory list. That's a huge mistake. A product page should be your best salesperson. Let's do a quick, high-impact makeover. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗘 (𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱): ❌ 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲: "Blue Running Shoes" 𝗩𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮: "Premium quality shoes for sale." 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳: No reviews, no ratings, nothing. Shop now for free shipping & returns!" 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳: Embed real customer photos and your top 5-star reviews directly on the page. Why does this simple makeover work? 👉 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗧𝗥 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: Your title and meta description act like a mini-ad on Google, earning you more qualified clicks. 👉 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁: Real reviews and User-Generated Content (UGC) crush buyer hesitation and build credibility. 👉 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: When people stay on your page longer, it signals value to Google, which can improve your rankings. Stop leaving money on the table. Take 15 minutes this week to upgrade just ONE product page. It surprises me how many e-commerce brands pretend to offer a personalized storefront, but show the same store to everyone. The attached visual that shows what a modern storefront actually looks like behind the scenes, which is a simple system that reacts in real time. Thought it would be useful to break this down into three stages with the recommended tech stack below: Stage 1: Signals (data in) You capture (live) what’s already happening the moment someone arrives. How they got there, what they’re doing, what device they’re on, and whether they’ve bought before. Typical stack: • Segment or RudderStack for event capture • Shopify events and customer data • Google Tag Manager • Meta / TikTok UTMs for paid context Focus on clean, real-time signals without overengineering identity. Stage 2: Decisions (what to show) Those signals get turned into a simple decision immediately. Which message, which products, which path makes sense for this visitor right now. If it’s not fast enough to change the first screen, it doesn’t count. Typical stack: • Dynamic Yield or Nosto • Vercel edge logic • Cloudflare Workers • Simple rules or light models, not heavy AI Remember, speed beats sophistication. Stage 3: Experience (what changes) The storefront responds on arrival. The hero, first product grid, and primary CTA change instantly so the site feels relevant from the first moment. Typical stack: • Shopify Hydrogen or native Shopify sections • Contentful or Optimizely • Server-side or edge-rendered changes, not client-side flicker Important, personalize above the fold first. A returning high-value customer sees new arrivals and a faster path to checkout. A first-time visitor from paid sees a clearer offer and fewer choices. A deal-driven shopper sees bundles and savings upfront. Everything else comes later. If you want to start without overengineering: • Pick the two audiences that matter most • Personalize only the hero and first product grid • Measure lift on conversion rate and revenue per session • Add complexity only after this works Start simple: focus on one working example that proves the storefront can adapt in real time in a way customers actually feel.

20,000 products. One campaign. No structure. We reviewed a home & garden retailer earlier this year with a massive catalogue of over 20,000 SKUs. Their Shopping setup? One PMax campaign. No segmentation. No product grouping. No prioritisation. Everything was lumped into a single pot and left to automate. The assumption was that Google will figure it out. It can see what is converting and what not, and it will naturally prioritise ad spend on the products most likely to drive sales. What happened? > High-spend products with weak returns >No clarity on what was actually being purchased >85% of the catalogue had nothad a single click for the past 3 months Smart Shopping isn’t a strategy. It’s a setting. Here’s what we changed: > Campaigns split by margin, stock levels and competitiveness > Feed rules to exclude low-volume, unprofitable SKUs > Tiered campaign structure built around commercial priorities Within 3 months: > Non-brand ROAS up 42%. > Wasted spend cut by £6K. > And finally, a clear view of which products were driving performance. If you're running a large catalogue without structure, you’re flying blind.
