We started testing Meta AI on Threads a few months ago. We've heard the feedback — not everyone wants to interact with AI publicly on Threads.
Today we're giving you a more direct way to use Meta AI: you can now chat with it in your DMs. You can ask it about posts or conversations happening on Threads, get more context on a topic, whatever's useful to you. When you use Meta AI in DMs, it won't show up in anyone's feed, and you can delete the conversation or mute the account anytime.
